Rwanda Psoriasis
and Psoriatic Arthritis Organisation
The undersigned people convene to create a non-profit making organization named “RWANDA PSORIASIS AND PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS ORGANISATION” governed by these statutes and subjected to the law n°04/2012 of 17/02/2012 governing the organisation and the functioning of national non-governmental organisations in Rwanda.
Mission
The organisation aims for a future free of discrimination to people affected by psoriasis and for advocacy for psoriasis clinical availability.
To achieve this:
- Psoriasis (and its related health issues) must be treated as a serious and potentially debilitating health condition.
- The highest standards of treatments (and supports) must be easily accessible.
- Greater awareness about the complexity of this condition must be achieved.
Objectives
- Consolidate efforts in advocacy and strengthen attitudes, behaviors and attitudes that reinforce the principle that Psoriasis’ should be considered as a difficult and potentially life-threatening condition.
- To be a platform and forum for sharing ideas and strategies aimed at improving the health of people living with Psoriasis.
- To be a channel in connecting members of the Organisation of Psoriasis patients with donors who are in the country or abroad in order to promote them.
